Good job stumbling upon this website! I have created this blog to discuss popular topics related to the virtual world and economics. The virtual world is one that is quickly becoming a standard for many people. It’s safe to say that there are people out there who may spend more time in this virtual world than the real world. Whether you like it or not the gaming craze is only to grow bigger and bigger. With this constantly increasing number of users playing in virtual worlds there are a whole range of business opportunities opening up.Believe it or not I nearly make a living playing in these virtual worlds. My favorite by far is World of WarCraft. WoW has dominated the MMORPG market for the past few years and it doesn’t look like there is any competition. With 8.5 million players there are plenty of ways to not only enjoy yourself but to make a buck here and there as well!
One of the best things about making money playing a game is that anyone can do it! There aren’t complex rules or requirements. Just play the game! There are so many games to start a business in. Many new MMORPG’s are making their way to stores and a whole new virtual world is opening up with users willing to pay for many services.
A little history about myself:
I started playing World of Warcraft about two years ago. When I first started I was not a full time gamer. I had a full time job and I never imagined I could make money playing this game. A little while down the road as my knowledge of the game increased I realized how much potential there was for actually making money playing it. When I finally got down to business I decided I would start off small and work my way up. I went from selling small amounts of gold, to very large amounts, to power-leveling, to farming, and everything else in between.
My strategies have worked so well that I went from making $80 a month to over $8,000! Yes, it’s hard to believe it’s actually possible to make close to $100,000 a year from playing a game! I am currently writing a guide that shows exactly what, where, when, and how I progressed that much!
I will use this blog to help out other “newbies” find resources within their virtual worlds to profit off of. Stay tuned for more updates!
