There has been a lot of speculation but it seems like Blizzard has officially announced the next expansion to World of WarCraft! Check out these pictures from Blizzcon.

Blizzcon Babes: 1 & 2
Now the only question left to answer is whether or not gold prices will shoot up!
Update:
Also want to add that Blizzard now has the expansion site up! Check it out: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/

I stumbled upon a little blog which was going to post images of glider in action somewhat like warcraftbot did. What happened to warcraftbot you ask? Yea they keep getting caught. Even by hiding your in game name Blizzard still got them. Well the owner of Glider Live had the same fate. His blog states that that he “lost two level 70s that bring in approximately $1500/mo for me.” after putting up his live imaging system. Well time to restart right? Of course not! If you get caught using imaging of your characters in action you probably should not attempt it a second time. Hyru gave it a try anyway.
Hyru states that “The good news is I’m leveling up a Gnome Mage from the beginning. You’ll be able to follow me on this adventure to level 70 and beyond.” As nice as this seems the worst hit him again. “In the previous blog post, you read about how I lost two 70s from a stupid mistake on my part. Well it turns out another account under my name got shit canned as well. A few months ago I sold a decked out level 70 to someone for $750, which just got banned for being associated to my other accounts.” Wow so Hyru loses three level 70’s! That one’s going to leave him sour for a while.
Hyru believes that the data from his website was sufficient enough to track down the bot. So in an effort to warn everybody I just wanted to say that it’s not safe to use a program to do what Hyru and warcraftbot attempted to do. I believe that if you must make it at least have it be a private thing just for you. Don’t attempt to cash in on Google Adsense from the visitors.
Hyru writes that he will be “going to fire up another bot and we’ll see how it goes. I’ve got a few ideas on how to avoid detection in the future.” Let’s hope for the best this time around!
I also managed to find a post by Hyru on the Glider forums about the incident. I found it interesting that his two level 70 characters were raking in $1500 per month! There were folks saying it wasn’t possible but Hyru’s expert math skills showed them. Hyru writes:
“One Level 70 * 750g/day * 0.05 avg ppg = $37.50 per day
$37.50 * 30 = $1125 per bot
$1125 per bot * 2 bots = $2250 a month for 2 bots
I came up with the $1500/mo figure on the off chance that I sold gold as low as 0.033 per gold avg, which happens.
The 70’s were in greens mind you. I know a guy who has epic’d out level 70s and pulls in 2000+ gold/day for each bot. The math works out to $6000+/mo at a rate of $50/1000g.
I don’t just pull these numbers out of my ass dude. There’s a reason everyone wanted to get into gold selling. It’s extremely lucrative.”
So selling gold even as low as $0.033 can become quite profitable. Does anyone else love virtual economics? I sure do!
