Head over to the Blasted Lands. The quest giver you’re looking for is called Daio the Decrepit (34,50).
Accept the quest The Prison’s Bindings.
“Travel to Dire Maul in Feralas and recover 15 Satyr Blood from the Wildspawn Satyr that inhabit the Warpwood Quarter.”
I Solo’d the whole questline as level 70 demo lock in about an hour. If you enter through the back door they’re already there. The elementals that walk around never come close enough for you to aggro them so don’t worry about them. It took me about 20 minutes. I recommend bringing along a friend or two because it will greatly speed things up.
After this accept the next quest The Prison’s Casing.
“Travel to Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring and recover 5 Tears of the Hederine from the Hederine demons that occupy the gorge.”
The mobs are 59 and 60 Elites. You can solo one at a time relatively easy.
Lastly accept his last quest Suppression.
“Venture forth into the Tainted Scar and locate a Doomguard Commander. Use the Glowing Crystal Prison on the Doomguard Commander. Be prepared for a ferocious onslaught of attacks, as the demon attempts to escape capture.”
The best tactic here is to summon your Voidwalker and send him in. After about 6 seconds start using the quest item you received.

After losing a fight in school, a 17 year old boy in Beijing covered his classmate with gasoline and lit him on fire. According to Beijing News the teen claimed that he “had lost himself in World of Warcraft” and “transformed into a Fire Mage.”
The Teen has since been sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay the victim and his family 760,000 RMB (about $103,140 USD).
Game|Life’s Earnest Cavalli had the following to say regarding the recent events:
In light of the recent “Mortal Kombat killings,” we’re hesitant to believe the claims of any youth who says they have been influenced by a video game into violence. In this case, though, we believe him simply because China lacks our American legal system that allows people to claim “games made me do it,” and subsequently shift all blame to the game’s creators.
I too am glad to see that this individual is going to be held accountable for his actions. His warped perception of reality caused him to set fire to another human being, and there is no justification for his actions.

Recently it was discovered that the Warlock spell Seed of Corruption had 60,000 range, zero mana cost, zero GCD/CD, and could be cast while dead. Similarly A rogue exploit was discovered that allowed them to shadowstep through zones!
This is what battlegrounds looked like:
Blizzard caught on pretty fast and took down the realms for a hotfix.
1-58
stack as much spirit as possible. Combined with spirit tap and the ability to shield/heal yourself, you should never have any downtime between single controlled fights EVER. Secondary stats include stamina and int with no priority of either over the other. Also try to keep your wand up to date with as much DPS as possible.
58-70
stack as much spell damage as possible with some extra interest in stamina (outlands is a bit nasty). Don’t worry about int as much at this point because the more damage you do = the more mana returned through vamp touch. This means spell damage is better than spirit, but still try to retain a reasonable amount of spirit. Wands do not matter as much at this point so try to get best-stat wands.
Important Tips:
Killing Technique:
Depending on the mob’s toughness (caster, normal, or tank) you want a few different rotations.
High hp/tough mobs:
Shield prior to pull
Vamp Touch
mind blast
SWP
flay til low (<10%)
SWD
Standard mobs
shield prior to pull
vamp touch
SWP
flay til low (<15%)
SWD
Caster mobs
shield prior to pull
vamp touch
mind blast
*silence as needed
flay til low (<20%)
SWD
In case of adds, psychic scream. Remember, you can always drop shadowform any time you want to heal yourself. Also keep up fort/inner fire buffs at all times. You can time your inner focus cooldown to eat up a fort rebuff.
Just doing the usual net browsing when I stumbled upon a Dell promotional for a WoW themed laptop. All I can say is this one one hot beast of a pc.
Specifications:
It supports the latest Intel processors, including the Core 2 Extreme X7900 processor overclocked to 3.2GHz (Bin+2).
It supports dual NVIDIA GeForce Go 8700M GT graphics cards in SLI mode. ( The NVIDIA 8700M GT card can be swapped out for the next-generation SLI card later this year)
All models come with a bright 17″ Ultrasharp 1920×1200 display with a 7ms response time.
It’s the first notebook in the world to support AGEIA PhysX 100M mobile physics card.
It supports two hard drives in a RAID 0 or 1 configuration
It’s the first notebook we’ve shipped that integrates Logitech’s GamePanel LCD, which displays stats and in-game details for a growing list of game titles.
It also features a full-sized backlit keyboard that has a 10-key number pad
The laptop also comes pre-loaded with World of Warcraft andThe Burning Crusade expansion pack and it is fully patched. The laptop has a lot of unique artwork, desktop wallpapers, and screen savers. The “Orc box” contains some hardware accessories like the binder with User’s Manual, the notebook power adapter, custom XPS WoW mousepad, WoW t-shirt, etc. Everyone who orders this system will get three things: a Quest Envelope, a WoW backpack full of stuff and the system itself. The Quest Envelope will come to you separate from the system via certified overnight mail. It contains the following:
Golden Ticket - This provides you an opprortunity to get a customized figurine of your WoW character through FigurePrints. FigurePrints will access you character’s data through Blizzard’s servers to create a custom 3D figure of your character, complete with weapons and armor you can choose. Take a look at this video if you want to see what this is all about.
Blizzard Beta Club Card - The code on the card registers you for Blizzard’s Beta Club, which gives you access to five upcoming beta tests, starting with the Wrath of the Lich King.
Collector’s Edition Account Upgrade Certificate - This allows you to upgrade your account to a collector’s edition account, enabling you to get a special in-game pet.
The WoW backpack is what comes in the Night Elf box. The backpack has the following things in it:
WoW BattleChest: This contains the retail versions of World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade expansion pack. It also includes WarCraft III and The Frozen Throne expansion pack, and the strategy guides for both games.
Recently Vivendi Games aquired Activision and formed Activision Blizzard. Some folks have been wondering if we can expect to see some Blizzard games ported to consoles. People have suggested ports for a long time but only now is it a real possibility. Blizzard has commented on this saying that their games will be sticking to PC. Mike Morhaime, co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, stated his company’s plans:
“We currently don’t have any plans right now on the console side. Blizzard’s focus is on the PC side. If we were to release anything on the console side, that would be managed by the Blizzard side of the business.”
Morhhaime also said there were no plans to bring any of their franchises to the consoles. Looks like they stand firmly on this. So is StarCraft 2 once again a possibility? It looks unlikely at this time.

If you’re tired of your cable internet connection and are thinking about switching to DSL then this might be the time. Blizzard and AT&T have paired up to help you make the switch to DSL. If you qualify Blizzard will give you 3 months of WoW paid. Blizzard did a good job pairing up with AT&T. I’m sure quite a few customers will switch over. As a Charter user I can’t really complain about my internet. It doesn’t go down very often but when it does it’s a living nightmare. Goes out for hours for no reason at all.
For people interested in switching to AT&T visit: link
