Explanation:
A) First and foremost to even make money playing World of Warcraft you need a computer. Not your friends, or your schools, but yours. Consider this computer to be your business computer now. Take care of it by not installing bloatware and other junk programs.
Any recent computer will be able to play World of Warcraft. The game is surprisingly flexible when it comes to PC specs. By far the two most significant factors that come into play with World of Warcraft and computers is the Graphics card (GPU) and the amount of system memory (RAM). Most integrated graphics cards will run the game on low settings which will suffice for someone just getting into this business.
I recommend a dedicated graphics card to anyone that actually likes to play games. As for memory try to get at least 1024 MB or 1 GB of memory. Most computers these days come with that much. Other factors such as processor type and speed as well as the Operating System come into play. But as long as your computer is running an AMD Athlon 64 or Pentium 4 or better you are good to go. Hopefully you are not running something besides Windows XP or Vista, like Linux or you’ve got a lot of work ahead of you..
The second most important thing about having a computer is internet access. Broadband is a must have these days. If you are running on an Ethernet connection you are in a good spot. For those of you playing any game on a wireless connection feel free to kick yourselves in the rear right now. Wireless internet does not even come close to the reliability of Ethernet. If at all possible grab a cat 5 or 6 cable and plug it into your computer rather than using the wireless. Just take my word for it. Do you know any professional gamers that play on wireless connections? To make money playing World of Warcraft you need a connection that will no drop on you. Ever play games on a wireless connection and suddenly lose connection or get disconnected? Yep, that’s the wireless. They lose packets left and right so take my word for it and use an Ethernet hookup. If you don’t believe me there are hundreds of millions of pages indexed in Google that will vouch for me :)
