Rumors circulating the internet say that Blizzard’s recent banning may be tied to the Wrath of the Lich King’s release. The bans come just 2 days before the expansions release. Blizzard still hasn’t closed the original Diablo’s Battle.net, so they obviously won’t be closing Diablo 2’s for a long time either. But it sure looks like they are giving you a friendly nudge to ‘upgrade’ to their Pay-to-Play alternative.
