A local teenager from Middletown, OH found himself in handcuffs and in a police car on Monday, December. 29.
The 17-year old told a Blizzard spokesperson in-game that “he was self-destructive and that the game represents the sole matter he has to exist for,” coercing the spokesperson to place a phone call to 911.
After police and paramedicals reached his house, he laid claim that he just acted on it “to attempt to receive what he wanted for the game.”
He was later discharged to his father, and will appear in court on Tuesday, January 6th.
