Mercury, the creator of MMOGlider, has posted an update to the current battle against Blizzard.
“Just a quick update for you guys here. We filed a few documents with the court yesterday to try and get the last little piece we need for a stay on the tortious injunction.
The first document is a motion for reconsideration. I believe this is a bit of a longshot, since the judge does not have to do anything, but we raised some really really strong points about the decision. It’s actually fairly easy reading for non-lawyers or maybe I’ve just read too many of these.
The second is just a request to lift the injunction while this is all sorted out, since the damage being done every day to Glider’s market share is pretty darn permanent and is not going to be repaired later by someone letting us sell. It’s two pages long, so if you are a TLDR type, read that one.
Reconsideration, document 118: http://www.mmoglider.com/legal/doc_118.pdf
Request for stay, document 119: http://www.mmoglider.com/legal/doc_119.pdf“
