Chris Kluwe wants name changed to Warcraft

Football isn’t genuinely recognized as possessing colorful characters. It holds a couple of chilling ones with criminal records, and numerous two-timing ones with relationship problems that make it to the printing press, but as of yet nothing that could be constituted as amusingly colorful. It has unquestionably acquired a reputation as a thug sport, so a little playfulness surely would not hurt. One football punter might completely alter all of that if his recent interview is to be believed.

It appears that the punter for the American Football Conference team the Minnesota Vikings, Chris Kluwe, announced in a recent published interview that he loves World of Warcraft such a great deal that he might alter his identify to reflect it. In a crazy twist it turns out it wasn’t completely his idea. Apparently his teammates acknowledge his addiction to World of Warcraft (frequently gaming as long as 6 hours a day) and have presented him a World of Warcraft nickname as a joke, and he’s just considering rolling with it, whether seriously or in jest no one is sure.

Kluwe has made it known that other players have changed their real names as well, including Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson, who adopted the nick name “Ocho Cinco” as his new identify, but to adopt the name of a computer game would surely turn heads. If he carries out his hairbrained idea he would become Chris Warcraft, rather than Chris “Warcraft” Kluwe. He’d certainly bring in a lot of endorsement money with a name such as that!

He has been a lifelong gamer,using a controller since the early age of 4. In World of Warcraft his character represents a troll rogue, more specifically, a troll rogue on the Kil’jaeden server, if you desire to keep an eye out for him and combine two of your favorite things, sports and video gaming. The interview where Kluwe talked about his love of games was at 93xRocks.

[Guide] Make Glider safer and faster

I’m presenting you a guide how to make Glider safer and more efficiant than ever before!
These settings are really important and make gliding alot safer and faster.

To start off, open your glider.config.xml in your Glider folder with notepad or something similar. But the actual windows notepad works very well. There you can change these parameters:

—Whitelist / Tagging—

You can set here, how many times Glider let people tag your mobs until Glider logs out.
My Suggestion: 4

With this parameter you can control, if Glider should ignore other people attacking your mobs or not. True means ignore, False means don’t ignore.

You can put names in here for the whitelist. Glider will not make an alarm or log out for those people.

—Looting—

You can put here the time, how long Glider should wait between the time the mouse found the corpse until Glider checks another time if the corpse has moved.

Bear Mount Removed in WOTLK

I wanted to give a very early head’s up to all of you Zul’Aman raiders out there:

Once Wrath of the Lich King goes live, you will no longer be able to obtain the Zul’Aman bear mount by saving all 4 prisoners in the timed run. The Bear Mount will be replaced by a very good, epic item that is level appropriate for people doing the zone. To be clear, the Zul’Aman bear mount is supposed to be an item of very high prestige. We want players who have earned it during the appropriate era (aka before the level cap gets raised) to be recognized for their accomplishment. We have absolutely no problem with higher level players (above level 70) going back and doing Zul’Aman after Wrath of the Lich King is live. We just want to preserve the accomplishment of having saved all 4 prisoners at the intended difficulty level.

We will most likely do something similar with the titles “Hand of A’dal” and “Champion of the Naaru” as well.

Please don’t panic! You still have plenty of time to complete these feats! Wrath of the Lich King is coming along great but is not ready yet! In fact, we’re not even in beta yet! So have fun adventuring for your bears and titles but please consider this your early warning.
